Sno Cones for adults: update

Triciathered and I did indeed obtain a Sno Cone!!! We went to Molly's Sno-Caps (or Sno-Cups...I don't remember) off of Lamar before you hit Barton Springs. The stand is in an old school Airstream trailer.

She got strawberries and cream. I got cherry with...get this....SOUR!!!! Never in my 28 years of existence have I seen a Sno Cone stand with sour! I don't know what the "sour" was but it was clear, in a squirt bottle, and it was great!!!

So essentially I got a cherry sour, like the candy. The sour part was very good and my only complaint was that there was too little sour. However, the small Sno Cones are $1.00, sour, cream, chocolate, and carmel are not extra, and you can have a scoop of Blue Bell on your Sno Cone for a little extra. But remember what Mama Booklahver said about "too much of a good thing"....

One small note: Theresa, Melinda, and I tried to obtain a Sno Cone the following Sunday. The place was not open so if you cruise down there for a cone, maybe have alternative plans.

Matt and I stopped by the nearby sno cone on our way home from running a lot of errands. They have stroons! That was pretty handy. I got a black cherry with cream and Matt raspberry with cream. Cream is extra and I couldn't taste it, so I won't get it next time.
They have theme flavors based on characters from movies: Captain Jack Sparrow, Lilo and Stitch, and others I can't remember.
Here's to seasonal eating! =D
