Paula Deen's Peanut Butter Brownie Cupcakes

1 (18 1/2-ounce) package chewy fudge brownie mix

1 (12-ounce) package peanut butter chips or 24 miniature peanut butter cups

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 24 regular muffin cups with paper cupcake liners.

Prepare the brownie mix according to package directions for cake-like brownies. Fill the cups half full with brownie batter. Place about 1 tablespoon peanut butter chips in the center of the batter, or press 1 peanut butter cup into the batter in each muffin cup until the batter meets the top edge of the peanut butter cup.

Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until the cupcakes are set. When they can be handled safely, remove them from the muffin tins and let cool completely on wire racks. Store in an airtight container.

Dove

**does anyone else think it's weird to have a chocolate bar and a lotion with the same name?? They book spark creamy riches to mind via their commercials....hmmmm...a real dove is not creamy and rich....weird**

I can't make myself buy organic chocolate. Why? Because I'm in LOVE with my Dove dark chocolate. I have one little square every day and I put it in mouth and let it melt. I don't open my mouth (or try not to) for the entire time it takes for it to dissolve completely. It's decadent, it's bad, but it's sooooo good. I love it! And yet, it would ruin the experience to have more than one per day. Just doesn't seem right.

I also must confess that I like the little phrases. Today was "Hey, Why not?" The other one I like is "Be fearless." Sometimes they are very topical for the day and when they are, they are saved. I saved today's because it seemed right.

So here's to you, little Dove chocolate square. I love thee!!!
