While I have a special place for bacon in my heart (and my arteries...) I don't know if I am brave enough to attempt to eat a bacon placemat on my own. Perhaps I should throw a bacon party?

That is incredibly disgusting. It looks like something my brothers would make, then put it in queso and eat it. Or on a hamburger. Or a pizza.
I veto the bacon party for the simple fact that it is extremely unhealthy to eat massive wads of bacon. Just call me "Health Nut Heloise".
